What support is available

Support for me

There’s loads of different support available in Sandwell. The services can help you decide what you need to do to change your alcohol use and offer the following support:

  • Advice and information about staying safe and help you to reduce how much you are drinking
  • Access to medical support
  • General healthcare advice and information and complimentary therapies
  • Support with housing, employment, education, training and benefits
  • Information about service user support groups

Under 18 support

If you are under 18, there is specialist support and information to help you learn more about alcohol, or help you reduce your alcohol use.
This support includes helping under 18s with someone else’s alcohol use, so if you want to talk to someone about someone else’s drinking, there’s support and information available.

I’m worried about someone else’s drinking
If you are worried about someone else’s drinking, we have support to help you understand more about what to do and how you can cope with the situation.

Asking for help is the first step on the road to recovery. Speak to Healthy Sandwell to be referred to a specialist service by completing the referral form or contacting them on the details below.
