WorkWell
WorkWell is an initiative supporting individuals in the Black Country with health conditions or disabilities to find, retain, or return to work. It offers personalised plans through trained Work and Health Coaches, addressing employment barriers with tailored guidance on rights, workplace adjustments, and skill-building.
Available for residents in the Black Country aged 16+ facing health-related employment challenges, it also provides referrals to additional support services.
Self-referrals or those via healthcare professionals are accepted.
Bereavement, Grief and Loss Leaflet
Sandwell bereavement leaflet can be a compassionate resource to help those grieving to navigate their emotions and provide immediate access to contact information for local and national bereavement services.
Professionally printed leaflets are available upon request.

If you’re struggling with grief, Sue Ryder online bereavement service offers up to 6 free sessions with a professional counsellor over video (Zoom) to people living in the UK and over the age of 18.

SANDS
Sands is here to save babies’ lives and support anyone affected by pregnancy loss or the death of a baby. SANDS Bereavement Support Services offer safe spaces for you to grieve and find support, whether you are a parent, sibling, grandparent, NHS professional or friend. SANDS team includes Bereavement Support Services Officers, counsellors and other qualified staff.

National Bereavement Service
Grief support and practical and legal administration support after someone has died. Services are completely free of charge.
