This project aims to engage with men (aged 18+) living in Sandwell in a 5-a-side Football League. which will consist of weekly tournament style matches on Monday afternoons and evenings at Portway Lifestyle Centre, 2.30pm – 4.30pm and 6pm – 8pm
The project is completely free of charge, thanks to funding from Sandwell Public Health as it aims to improve men’s Health and Wellbeing.
Alongside a free t shirt for every player, men can expect informal workshops throughout the league that will share information around other services that can support better health. Signing up to the program also allows you access to Ally’s wellbeing café, ran by West Bromwich Albion legend Alistair Robertson.
