Your Health Sandwell, a weight management service providing tailored face to face and online support to adults 18 years + striving for a healthier lifestyle.

Our digital option provides accessible healthy eating tips and weight management strategies.

Weight Management

The 12 week curriculum is as follows

Social eating and alcohol

Fitness sessions will consist of

Sessions will consider those with health issues, e.g. with diabetes and appropriate adjustments can be made for those with mobility issues.

Can anyone join?

You can join the programme if:

  • You live in Sandwell or have a GP in Sandwell.
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have a BMI over 25 (or over 23 if you are of Black African, African-Caribbean or Asian origin).
Face to face and Online via Zoom. With complimentary self-help tools, recipes etc.
Your Health Sandwell will contact you within 3 -5 working days of receiving a referral from Healthy Sandwell. You will be booked to attend an initial assessment and identification of suitable option will be made at this point by asking your preferences to do a face to face or digital programme.
Weekly for 12 weeks, face to face groups will be up to 10 people. Online maximum is of up to 20 people.
Limited to one re-engagement into the service after 6 weeks of a cooling off period.

This 12-week programme is designed for meaningful behaviour change. It includes expert-led activity sessions tailored for all fitness levels. With food and nutrition workshops for both significant and sustainable lifestyle adjustments, essential for realistic health goals.
