SHAPE Your Talent
SHAPE Your Talent is a talent competition for young people aged 8-19 year olds (up to 25 for young people with SEND) who live, work or are educated in Sandwell.
Young people are invited to showcase their talents in music, dance and entertainment. Applications from school choirs, dance groups and community organisations are also welcomed.
The competition is split in to two age categories: 8 – 13 years, Childrens Category, and 14 – 19 years Youth Category. The winner of each age category will win the prize money of £500!
Applications will re-open in December 2024, with auditions being held at various community venues in March 2025.
Printed flyers and posters will be sent out to schools to be displayed and handed out to children and young people ahead of the applications for SHAPE Your Talent opening. Digital copies of posters can also be requested by emailing shape_events@sandwell.gov.uk
