By working with and through universal services such as schools, we can develop interventions that have potential to impact upon the whole population of children and young people.
Health and educational outcomes are inextricably linked. Research shows good education improves health outcomes, and health and wellbeing of children and young people also affects their educational outcomes.
A number of strategies, initiatives and services are already in place at a borough-wide level that aim to improve health outcomes. These projects have been captured in some of our videos, in the next section of the report.
Part of this year’s Annual Report was to hear from local children and young people.
