Back to list

RAF Air Cadets Civilian Instructors are integral to the success of the organisation and will help the development of cadets as they experience Air Cadet life. You would help manage, control and organise various activities for the squadron such as teaching, camping, fund raising, sports, etc. Full training and support is provided as we aim to develop our staffs’ skills and experience to give the best cadet experience possible!

For more information about this activity, please contact Healthy Sandwell.

888 Squadron

Vicarage Road, Oldbury, UK

The Royal Air Force Air Cadets are the biggest Youth Organisation in the UK. Every week, thousands of cadets experience once in a lifetime opportunities and take part in activities they would never have dreamt of.

The list of things Air Cadets get up to is virtually endless; from flying, to shooting, gliding, climbing, field-craft, sailing, skiing, visiting foreign countries, parachuting, flights in fast jets and helicopters, hiking, paragliding, scuba diving, athletics, swimming, earning BTECS, community projects, social events, different sports (up to national representation) and so much more.
888 (Oldbury) Squadron meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:45pm to 9:45pm. If you’re interested in finding out more and taking part in something truly breath-taking, you can contact us at any time to find out more information! You don’t have to be between 12 and 17 to take part in all these activities either, becoming an adult volunteer will put you at the centre of helping to create ‘the next generation.’

Join the Air Cadets and do some something exhilarating, exciting and gain incredible experience!
