Scouting helps children gain independence and leadership skills as well as reinforcing the importance of teamwork.

Each group is free for the first 4 weeks.

Beavers (Age 6 – 8)

Monday nights from 6.30pm -7.30pm. They take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, and plenty of outdoor activities. They also have the opportunity to experience the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it’s a real adventure for them.

Cubs (Age 8 – 10½)

Cub Scouts meet weekly on Thursday nights from 6.30pm – 8pm. They take part in a wide range of interesting and challenging games & activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. Camps and holidays are memorable events for them too.

Scouts (Age 10½ – 14)

Scouts meet weekly on Thursday nights from 8pm – 9.30pm. Outdoor activities feature prominently. Scouts learn various skills, such as map reading, camp cooking and first aid in preparation for their camps.
