Why Join Brilliant Brushers?
The programme is designed for children aged 3–5 years and supports supervised daily toothbrushing in early years settings, improving oral health, reducing the risk of tooth decay, and establishing positive habits that can last a lifetime.

What's involved?
Taking part is simple. We need your help to:
- Deliver a short daily supervised toothbrushing session
- Follow straightforward hygiene and safety guidance
- Encourage positive brushing habits and routines
- Help reinforce key oral health messages with children and families
Everything you need is provided
When you join the programme, your setting will receive:
- Toothbrushing equipment and resources
- Full staff training and practical guidance
- Fun educational materials for children
- Take-home packs for families
- Ongoing support from the Brilliant Brushers team
The programme is designed to be fun, engaging, and easy to implement, with support provided every step of the way.
Our free training sessions last between 1.5 and 2 hours and are delivered throughout the year at community venues. For new settings joining the programme, we ask that a minimum of two members of staff attend the training.
Once trained, these staff members can share their knowledge and support the rest of the team to implement the programme successfully, helping their setting become a team of Brilliant Brushers.
Who can apply?
Priority is given to settings caring for children aged 3–5 years located within Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) 1 and 2 areas.

Even if you’re not eligible, we may still be able to provide you with FREE take-home toothbrush packs. Get in touch with us.
