IRiS Sandwell

Healthy Sandwell work with local organisations to provide free help and support to local residents.

IRiS Sandwell is the adult drug treatment service for the Borough of Sandwell, paid for and regulated by the Council. It is delivered by Cranstoun in partnership with Inclusion and Kaleidoscope+.

There services are for any resident over the age of 18. They help people who are experiencing difficulties with drugs and/or alcohol. There’s help for people who may be worried about family member’s drug or alcohol use too.

  • Advice and information
  • Comprehensive assessment
  • Drug and alcohol detoxification
  • Family information and support
  • GP-based shared care services
  • Group sessions and programmes
  • Harm reduction advice
  • Health MOTs
  • Mutual Aid Support Groups
  • Needle exchange
  • One to one sessions
  • Prescribing services
  • Recovery champions and peer support
  • Recovery-focused treatment
