Cranstoun Sandwell

Healthy Sandwell work with different local services so they can provide free help and support to local residents.

Cranstoun Sandwell is the adult drug treatment service for the all of Sandwell. It is paid for and regulated by the Council.

The services are for any one over the age of 18. They help people who are experiencing difficulties with drugs and/or alcohol. There is also help for people who may be worried about family member’s drug or alcohol use too.

You can contact Cranstoun directly as well as access support via Healthy Sandwell.

They offer lots of support, including:

  • Advice and information
  • Comprehensive assessment
  • Drug and alcohol detoxification
  • Family information and support
  • GP-based shared care services
  • Group sessions and programmes
  • Harm reduction advice
  • Health MOTs
  • Mutual Aid Support Groups
  • Needle exchange
  • One to one sessions
  • Prescribing services
  • Recovery champions and peer support
  • Recovery-focused treatment
