Does it look like there’s a problem down there?

Do you have any genital rashes, red areas, unusual bumps or other blemishes?

Worried you might have genital warts? Our specialist team are now offering a photograph screening service, so a nurse can review your skin concerns without you needing to visit our clinic.

You can take photographs of any genital lumps, bumps, rashes, lesions or other blemishes in the comfort of your own home and send it to our secure email for a medical review. One of our nurses will contact you afterwards to inform you of your results and the next steps.

If there is any infection, we will post treatment out to you. If treatment at home is not suitable, please let one of our nurses know. We can arrange for you to collect medication at our clinic.

What to expect

We understand you may feel nervous or embarrassing about having a physical examination so here are a few things to expect from the photograph screening process:

  • A Sexual Health Nurse will contact you for a telephone consultation.
  • We will send you instructions and guidelines on how to send in photographs.
  • We will ask you about your symptoms and to upload two photographs for us.
  • Our nurse will examine these photographs to determine a diagnosis.
  • If we need to deliver any medication, we will ask you to provide an address.
