With the days getting longer and warmer it’s a perfect opportunity to get out and get active. Here are some top tips:
1. Set yourself a goal for summer
Many people find that having a goal can help motivate them to get more active. It could be signing up for a new class at your local leisure centre or walking for 10 minutes each day. 2. Get outdoors
Getting fit outdoors is a great way to get some fresh air and admire some of our beautiful park land. Many of our parks have outdoor gym equipment which is all free to use. 3. Do something you love
It’s never too late to take up a new sport or re-discover an old favourite. Did you love playing football as a kid? Or were you a dab hand at netball?
