Sandwell’s COVID-19 Outbreak Plan
Our plan sets out how we are protecting our local population against the global pandemic. It’s a plan based on joint working across several organisations, including Sandwell Council, Public Health England, local NHS trusts and Sandwell’s voluntary & community sector.
This plan has already stood up successfully to the test of a number of local outbreaks in various settings. It also helped us achieve one of the fastest decline in case rates in the country between February and March 2021.
It will continue to evolve and as the pandemic evolves and we will regularly update it with new information and case studies.
