Transporting PCR Swabs

Once a test has been taken, there are two different methods of transporting PCR swabs to the laboratories one is via a courier and one via the postal service. Your company will have the details for which one you will be using.

If your courier has turned up by 4pm on the day arrange please contact 119 ASAP so they can find out what has happened, unfortunately we and PHE have no influence regarding swabbing or couriers.

Usually obtaining results should take a maximum of 72 hours sometimes it may take longer. If by day 7 you have not had any results, please contact 119 for them to investigate it.
